Building Stronger Communities Together for 36 Years

As Tri-Cities Area Habitat for Humanity enters its 36th year of building homes and transforming lives, we are grateful for the unwavering support of community partners like you. Your involvement has played a vital role in creating safe, affordable housing for hardworking families.

The housing crisis in West Michigan continues to challenge local households. With rising rent and limited affordable options, many families struggle to find stability. Our community thrives when every family has a safe and affordable place to call home — and your partnership makes that possible.

By the end of 2025, we will complete our 64th home in Roosevelt Park and begin our 65th home in Ferrysburg while continuing to explore new ways to expand our mission. Looking ahead to 2026, we are entering the beginning stages

of a partnership focused on assisting area veterans by developing a small home community. This collaboration with the Veterans Association will offer wraparound services and resources to ensure long-term sustainability. We are grateful to the Ottawa County Commission Board for awarding the first $250,000 toward our $1 million goal.

Also in 2026, we are launching a Youth Development Program. In partnership with area schools, students will gain experience working in our ReStores, contribute to home builds, and attend budgeting classes with Love INC of Muskegon County and Love in Action. This program costs $45,000 ($3,000 per student). Thanks to Comerica Bank’s $5,000 grant, we are working to raise the remaining $40,000 by February 1, with recruitment and hiring beginning in January.

We invite you to support these sustainability efforts through a year-end donation or sponsorship commitment.

Your gift not only supports affordable housing — it demonstrates your dedication to community well-being, growth, and social responsibility. Giving at any level is meaningful, and every dollar counts.

If you are looking for defined giving levels, the following opportunities are available

(all levels $3,000 or greater will be recognized in program development announcements and on social media):

  • Ground Breaker: $50,000 You will partner with us to break ground on one of our current projects or builds. Just let us know which project is important to you!

Sincerely,
