Meet Our New Executive Director
Tri-Cities Area Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce Domineca Montalvo as its new Executive Director, effective July 7, 2025!
With nearly ten years in non-profit leadership and a decade of previous experience in sales, Domineca, a West Michigan native, brings a unique blend of expertise in major fundraising, change management, team building, and program development. Her educational foundation in Business Administration and Pastoral Leadership complements her professional journey, allowing her to approach challenges with both strategic insight and compassionate understanding.
Throughout her career, she has witnessed the pivotal role relationships play in the success of non-profits. Domineca believes that, while fundraising is crucial, organizations often overlook the importance of relationship building and community collaboration. Strong relationships and strategic vision are essential in building the foundation of strong communities and fostering a healthy cycle of give and take is essential for organizational health and growth.
Domineca is passionate about building strong partnerships that support community initiatives, recognizing that this collaboration is key to achieving not just sustainability, but a thriving organization and community. By prioritizing these connections, communities can be empowered to flourish and create a lasting impact.
She replaces Interim Executive Director Arlan Meekhof, a servant leader who has not only maintained the organization for two years but has tangibly changed it for the better. Thank you, Arlan!
Please join the Tri-Cities Area HFH Board of Directors and staff in giving Domineca a warm welcome as we put God’s love into action and bring people together to build homes, communities and hope in Northwest Ottawa and southern Muskegon counties.
